Mr. Wanchai was sentenced for 15-year imprisonment. Since he pleged guilty, the court then reduced the penalty for one-third. He will now serve 10 year imprisonment.

After sentenced for 4 years since 2009, Wanchai T. was granted the royal pardon and was released at 2.20 P.M. onJune 4, 2013. Assistant Professor Dr. Suda Rangkupan, acting on behalf of  the members of Street Justice and member of Ratchadamnoen webord, pantip.com, came to support and gave him financial assistance. As soon as Wanchai was released, he was taken into custody to Dusit police station and transferred to the Immigration for temporary detention while Singapore Embassy prepared  documents for his departure.
