Chiang Rai Women 1 and 3 Chiang Rai man paticipated in a symbolic activity againt the coup "Eating Mac's againt the coup" at Macdonald's Ratchaprasong branch. After he was detained for 7 days, he was charged because of defying NCPO order No.7/2014.

Se has served as a member of Chiang Rai Provincial Administration Organization. She used to take part in establishing security tents to control both the entrance and the exit of Chiang Rai City Hall in order to express the support and encouragement to Yingluck Shinawatra.

He works as a government official at Chiang Rai Provincial Public Health Office. According to his saying, he claimed that he has never taken part in any of UDD’s rallies.

He is a former lecturer in Construction at Chiang Rai Technical College. He has already retired from the government service.

She attended the anti coup activity at McDonald’s Chiang Rai Central Plaza branch by making an appointment through Facebook. On the incident, she held on an anti coup sign as well as took pictures of the activity.

 

Chiang Rai Man 3

He has joined the political gathering at McDonald’s and showed anti-coup symbol and took the pictures of the incident in the late morning of 25 May 2014. After that, at 12.57 p.m, the military officials have been reported from its Investigative Intelligence Division that there was a violation on the prohibition of political assembly of more than 5 people based on the evidences which were 4  sheets of paper written “Election”, “No Coup”, “Need election, need people’s voice”, and “Give back our freedom.” He was therefore arrested together with 2 men and 1 woman.

On 25 May 2014, around 12.57 p.m, a military official who disguised as McDonald’s employee disclosed himself to arrest Chiang Rai man 4 and the group then took him to Mengrai Maharaj military camp.

In the late morning of 25 May 2014, she and other dissidents participated in the “eating McDonald’s to protest against the coup” activity. Afterwards, at 12.57 p.m, the military officials have been reported from its Investigative Intelligence Division that there was a violation on the prohibition of political assembly of more than 5 people based on the evidences which were 4 sheets of paper written “Election”, “No Coup”, “Need election, need people’s voice”, and “Give back our freedom.” She was later arrested along with her husband and 2 other men.

She asked for self bail in the sum of 20,000 Baht but it was denied due to the case’s report incompletion. 
 
1 June 2014
She was moved to Chiang Rai Police Station and detained for one night and as an investigation officer hasn’t finished the case’s report yet; therefore, she would be taken to the court for requesting the first phase of detention for 12 days.
 
2 June 2014  
She was taken to Chiang Rai Military Court for the detention request. After the court granted the detention order, she was confined at Chiang Rai Remand Prison. However, her lawyer posted the bail in the same day and the court permitted to release her on bail in the sum of 20,000 Baht.
 
10 June 2014
 Around 09.13 a.m, she came to report to the Chiang Rai Military Court. Everything went well in order on that day. She has to report again for the second phase of the detention on 13 June 2014.
