Sanguan, former Phue Thai MP, was prosecuted under NCPO annoucemnt no.41/2557 for not reporting to NCPO in time. Initially he denied the charge because he was not in the country and cannot report in time but later changed to confess.

Bangkok Military Court sentenced him for 1 year in prison and 20,000 baht fine. Because the defendant confessed, the penalty was reduced by half and the prison sentence was suspended.
