"Thip" is an employee of a state owned hospital in Northeast region of Thailand. She was accused to post a photo where she and her friends wore black suit on her facebook and written a message that likely to be an offense against article 112 of the Criminal Code.

With a lot of pressure of many groups of people, the police and military prosecutor issued prosecution order against her. She was later sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in prison. She was released on 11 August 2016 after served her sentence. After there was Royal Pardon decree in August 2016 "Thip" was release prior to the compleation of her prison term as she was qualified to be release by the decree.
