Since the late January to the beginning of February 2015, there was the news about the arrest of many persons who were accused of Lèse majesté according to the Article 112 of Thai Criminal Code. They were together linked that they were in “Banpodj Network”, or the network which produced and spread the audio clips that a man, used the name “Banpodj”, had produced a radio programe to criticize political situation and talk about health. 
 
It was reported that the owner of the voice of “Banpodj” was one of the most wanted suspect for police officers from the Technology Crime Suppression Division (TCSD). Since the audio clips of “Banpodj” has been posted on several kinds of media and it was posted by many accounts and the voice was technically modified, so the police officers from TCSD continuously spent resourses since 2008 in order to follow people who were behind the audio clips.
 
Over 400 episodes of “Banpodj” audio clips can be found on internet both in youtube and other websites. Each episode is around 60-120 minutes in length. Some episodes reached thousands clicks. Some episodes reached many of ten thousands. Meanwhile, at least 14 suspects were arrested and detained. 
 
 
1. Hassadin, the voice maker of “Banpodj” 
Hasdin is 64 years old. He had done a private business but when he was arrested he did not do any career. He was accused of being the owner of the voice of “Banpodj” producing the audio programs which were about politics and health on internet for over 400 episodes since 2008 
Charge: Article 112 of the Criminal Code and Section 14(2) (3) (5) of the Computer Crime Act
Arrest: 10 February 2015, the police officers from TCSD together with the military officers arrested Hassadin at Erawan Hotel in Huai Khwang district, Bangkok. Before the arrest, the officers had arbitrarily gotten into his house but could not find him. They asked his three children to be investigated. They also arrested his wife and already charged her.

Recent status: He has never submitted the request for bail. Recently he is in 8th zone at the Bangkok Remand Prison.
 
2. Saifon, wife of Hasdin, accused for supporting “Banpodj”
Before being arrested, Saifon was an officer in a bank. She lived with Hassadin for over 10 years. She was charged that she supported Hasdin’s action by using the bank account and ATM in transferring money relating to this offence.
Charge: Supported the offence relating to Article 112 of the Criminal Code and Section 14(2)(3)(5) of the Computer Crime Act
Arrest: 4 February 2015, 4 plainclothes military officers arrested her at her workplace and detained her according to the Martial Law for 3 days.
The day of the first provisional detention: 7 February 2015
Recent status: She has never submitted the request for bail. Recently she is in the 1st zone at the Central Women Correctional Institution.
 
3. “Saichol”, motercycle taxi driver, accused for supporting “Banpodj”
“Saichol” is 48 years old. Before being arrested, he worked as a motorcycle taxi driver on the same street which Hasdin’s house is located. He was charged that he assisted Banpodj in delivering the CDs of audio clips to several places for its network and for “Chaba”, one of the arrestees.
Charge: Supported the offence relating to Article 112 of the Criminal Code and Section 14(2)(3)(5) of the Computer Crime Act
Arrest: Around midnight of 2 February 2015, the officer waited for “Saichol” at his rented resident. After he came back from work the officer appeared arresting him and then detained him for 5 days according to the Martial Law.

Recent status: He has never submitted the request for bail. Recently he is in the 3rd zone at the Bangkok Remand Prison. 
 
4. “Chaba”, opened bank account for taking donation.
“Chaba”, before being arrested was a high positioned government officer in Revenue Department and she has a private business about direct sell via internet. She was accused that she spread the voice clips of “Banpodj” on her facebook account and used her name and her bank account to take donation.
Charge: Article 112 of the Criminal Code and Section 14(2)(3)(5) of the Computer Crime Act
Arrest: 25 January 2015, “Chaba” was arrested at her place by 5 plainclothes military officers and 5 military officers in uniform with arms. The military officers seized her properties including computer, ipad, iphone and other stuff for investigation.

Recent status: She has submitted the request for bail with cash 400,000 baht. But the court did not approve the bail. Recently she is in the 1st zone at the Central Women Correctional Institution.
 
 
ฺBesides the 4 detainees who were suspected that directly involve with this network, before the officers found the most wanted suspect named Hassadin, the officers have also found at least 5 suspects during the same period of time and acused them that they are all in the same network of the voice owner in audio clips and the same team. Meanwhile, the police do not have the clear evidences to prove if all of 5 suspects had really worked with the voice owner or they were only supporters who had done under their own opinions.
 
5. “Kwanjai”, the admin of the page Banpodj Thailand Clips
Kwanjai is 41 years old, before being arrested she worked as a housekeeper. She was accused that she was the admin of the Facebook page 'Banpodj Thailand Clips' and used her private facebook account to spread messages and pictures, which were deemed to violate the Lèse Majesté law and connected to the group of people who have negative thought about the Royal Institution. 
Charge: Article 112 of the Criminal Code and the Computer Crime Act
Arrest: 25 January 2015, around 6-7 soldiers with guns together with 2 trucks of female soldiers and the officers from TCSD arrested “Kwanjai” at her place in Bang Sao Thong, Samut Prakarn. The officers seized the computer, mobile phone and electronic devices. All are 14 in total.

Recent status: She has never submitted the request for bail. Recently she is in the 1st zone at the Central Women Correctional Institution.
 
6. “Paopan” the admin of the page Banpodj Thailand Clips
“Paopan” is 65 years old. He has been accused that he was the admin of the page Facebook page 'Banpodj Thailand Clips' which was used for disseminating the audio clips of 'Banpodj'.
Charge: Article 112 of the Criminal Code and the Computer Crime Act
Arrest: He was arrested on 25 January 2015
The day of the first provisional detention: 2 February 2015
Recent status : He has never submitted the request for bail. Recently he is in the 3rd zone at the Bangkok Remand Prison. 
 
7. “Taweesin”, sold the products for fundraising.
“Taweesin” is 43 years old, before being arrested he was a fortune-teller. He was accused that he sold the supplementary food products to collect the money to support the movement of 'Bunpodj Network'.
Charge: Article 112 of the Criminal Code and the Computer Crime Act
Arrest: He was arrested on 25 January 2015 at his place.
The day of the first provisional detention: 2 February 2015
Recent status : He has never submitted the request for bail. Recently he is in the 4th zone at the Bangkok Remand Prison. 
 
8. “Pana”, spread the Banpodj Clips
“Pana” is 46 years old. He sold the colors. He was accused that he is an important person of 'Banpodj Network' on dissemination of the messages, pictures, and other audio clips which were deemed to violate the Lèse Majesté law.  
Charge: Article 112 of the Criminal Code and the Computer Crime Act
Arrest: 28 January 2015, around 10 am, more than 10 military and police officers arrested him at his place and seized the computer and mobile phone. His younger brother was also arrested but was released later.
The day of the first provisional detention: 2 February 2015
Recent status: He has submitted the request for bail with securities which was the Government Savings Bank’s lottery at 600,000 baht. The court did not approve the bail. “Pana” has glaucoma at one of his eyes whereas another eye was already blind. Recently he is in the Medical Correctional Hospital.
 
9. “Tara”, posted voice clips in the site selling the products.
“Tara” is 57 years old, before being arrested he was a cashier at an apartment and he sold herbal products online as a second job. He was accused that he posted the audio clips of 'Banpodj' on the site that he used for advertise his product online.
Charge: Article 112 of the Criminal Code and Section 14(1)(3)(5) of the Computer Crime Act. 
Arrest: 25 January 2015, Tara made an appointment with his costomer at the place near Victory Monument for submitting the product. Then around 10 soldiers in uniform together with the DSI officers came to arrest him. It was supposed that the costomer had led to the arrest.

Recent status: He has never submitted the request for bail. Recently he is in the 8th zone at the Bangkok Remand Prison.

Additionally, after the most wanted suspect who is Hassadin has been arrested. The officers still have the intention to cracjdown “Banpodj Network” by arresting at least 3 more suspects. All 3 suspects accepted that they knew one another by being the members in the same Facebook group. But no one accepted that they involved or worked as the same team with the presenter of the audio clips.
 
10. Kornrat, a member of FB group “Truth is easy to understand when discovered” 
Kornrat, before being arrested, was a high positioned officer in a private company. He was accused that he was in the Facebook group “Truth is easy to understand when discovered” and he shared the clips on his Facebook account.
Charge: Article 112 of the Criminal Code and the Computer Crime Act 
Arrest: 18 February 2015, Kornrat has been arrested at his workplace by plainclothes policemen in black jackets. They seized his 6 mobile phones and 1 CPU. On the same day, his wife was also arrested but was released later.
The day of the provisional detention: 20 February 2015
Recent status: He has submitted the request for bail with cash 1,000,000,000 baht. But the court did not approve the bail. Recently he is in the 1st zone at the Bangkok Remand Prison.
 
11. Nongnutch, a member of FB group “Truth is easy to understand when discovered”
Nongnutch, before being arrested was a clothes seller at Central Rama third, she was accused that he was in the Facebook group “Truth is easy to understand when discovered” and he shared the clips on his Facebook account.
Charge: Article 112 of the Criminal Code and the Computer Crime Act 
Arrest: 18 February 2015, around 10 military and police officers with arms arrested Nongnutch at her workplace. 
The day of the provisional detention: 20 February 2015
Recent status: She has submitted the request for bail with cash 400,000 baht. But the court did not approve the bail. Recently she is in the 1st zone at  the Bangkok Remand Prison. 
 
12. Thiprachaya, a member of FB group “Truth is easy to understand when discovered”
Thiprachaya is 44 years old, before being arrested she worked as an accountant in a private company. She accused that he was in the Facebook group “Truth is easy to understand when discovered” and he shared the clips on his Facebook account.
Charge: Article 112 of the Criminal Code and the Computer Crime Act 
Arrest: 18 February 2015, more than 10 military officers with arms, the police officers and officers from TCSD arrested together around 40 persons arrested Thiprachaya at her workplace at Ladmlookka and seized the computer of the company. 
The day of the provisional detention: 20 February 2015
Recent status: She has submitted the request for bail with cash 400,000 baht. But the court did not approve the bail. Recently she is in the 1st zone at  the Bangkok Remand Prison. 
 
 
Besides, before the arrest of 12 suspects during this time, there were at least 2 accused that were arrested before. Chalieaw and “Kawee”, both were followed by the officers until they were arrested as they uploaded many audio clips of “Banpodj”. Both of them were suspected for being the owner of the voice 'Bunpodj' but now they are not in prison.
 
13. Chalieaw, uploaded the clips on the website 4shared.
Chalieaw, before being arrested was a tailor, he was accused that he uploaded and spread the audio clips of “Banpodj” on the site 4shared.
Charge: Article 112 of the Criminal Code and the Computer Crime Act
Arrest: 3 June 2014, Chalieaw reported himself according to the NCPO order No. 44/2557.
The day of the first provisional detention: 9 June 2014
Recent status: 29 August 2014, the Criminal Court sentenced him for 3 years in jail, and suspend the sentence. Recently the case is in the Court of Appeal.
 
14. “Kawee”, uploaded the clips on Youtube 
“Kawee” is 60 years old, before being arrested he did not do any career. He was accused that he is the owner of Youtube account “Mueang Prang” uploading the audio clips of “Banpodj” and many other political clips.
Charge: Article 112 of the Criminal Code and the Computer Crime Act
Arrest: 13 November 2014 at dawn, the DSI officers and around 20 military officers arbitrarily arrested “Kawee” at his house in Surin. It was reported that before the day he was arrested, “Kawee” called a technician from Internet Service Provider (TOT) to fix his internet connection at his house. It was supposed to be the cause of the arrested.
