On 12 September 2015, Bundit went to a seminar titled Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand B.E.? at Thammasat University. The event was organized by a group of activists called New Democracy Movement. 

During the seminar Bundit raised his hand then made a comment as follow

"Value of Human and Human Dignity of the people of Thailand must remain above dust that sticked beneath of some person's foot"

After made such commet Bundit was escourted by plain cloth officials who were at the seminar venue to Chanasongkram Police Station.

The police initaiily enforce Attitude Adjustment on Bundit where he need to sign that he will not made such comment again then the police released him without made accusation against him.

Later, in November 2016, the inquiry official of Chanasongkram Police Station obtained arrest warrant from the Bangkok Military Court then arrested Bundit from his apartment. Bundit was detained in Bangkok Remand Prison for a night before the court released him on bail with cash in the amount of 400000 Baht as bail bond.  

The military prosecutor filed charge against Bundit on 7 February 2017. The trial last in the military court until July 2019 then it was transfered to the Criminal Court as a result of the order of the head of NCPO no. 9/2019.

After the case was transfered to the Criminal Court the court proceed with the remaining witnesses examination and concluded trial in November 2020. 

On 26 January 2021, the court found Bundit no guilty on the ground that there were reasonable doubts in the witnesses and evidences of the prosecutor.
