On 15 March 2017, at night, at Satun province, hundreds of protesters who oppose to Pak Bara Deep Sea Port Project occupied venue of EIA public hearing, Baan Pak Bang school. On the next day protesters tried to block people who came to participate in the public hearing by locking up all entrance gates. Thus, the hearing could not run as It was planned. After that 7 out of all protesters were accused of violation of Public Assembly Act and trespass.

All defendants reported to the police and denied all of allegations saying that the assembly in community hearing is their rights to protect natural resource which did not cause any disorder.
