in 1986, Weera Musikkapong, a candidate of the Democrats Party, said, in his own election campaign, that if he could choose, he would like to be born in the royal family. The Supreme Court ruled that this has breached the section 112 in the total of 2 counts resulting in a 4-year imprisonment. Later, the royal pardon was granted.
